We reached out to Brian because we were thinking about adapting my parents' house to make room for an ADU for my grandmother. Brian was incredibly responsive and came out actually the next day to take a look at the house and walk us through what was or wasn't possible. He was really thoughtful and patient through the whole process and explained in detail what next steps he would take if he took on the job. Over the years, we've worked with a bunch of contractors. It's very rare to find someone with Brian's combination of kindness, patience, or professionalism. We have a unique, older house and wanted modifications that work, subtly, but would not distort the original house too radically. Brian and his workers were skilled and fastidious and pleasant. When one of the modifications didn't work, Brian was prompt to come over and change it, even though we'd already settled the bill. We hired Harvey Home Modifications to renovate a large room in our home. They worked with us to develop the plan and successfully made this into a living area with handicap bathroom, and small laundry area for my aging parents. We were on a tight timeline and they were able to finish on time, and on budget! After a while, due to no fault of theirs, the pan in the shower failed causing the floor to become unstable. Brian came out and corrected the issue at no cost to us. It is rare to find a contractor with this level of integrity. I would definitely recommend Brian and Harvey Home Modifications to anyone and will consider them for any future projects in my home.

He knows all about construction for accessibility. He provided creative solutions beyond what we asked for. We are extremely happy with the new universal design walk-in shower and bathroom HHM installed to replace our second floor master bathroom. The team spent plenty of time discussing our wishes with us, and everything was fulfilled. This project started before the pandemic hit, was put on hold, and then completed as soon as was humanly possible. I couldn't get out of the house when I was supposed to be choosing tiles, so they went to the tile store for me, sent photos of tiles, and I chose that way. Their advice was right on target. The bathroom is so helpful for me to use with my mobility issues, is lovely, and I would highly recommend Brian's team with an A+!
